Which chapter in World History did you enjoy most this year and why?
The chapter I enjoyed most this year in World History was chapter 10 Ancient Rome. I like learning about ancient Rome because I liked learning about all the gods. I also liked learning about how the Romans made all these amazing architectures like the Colosseum.
Describe some of the things that you learned in that chapter. Is there a project that you completed that you enjoyed working on?
I learned that slaves sometimes went in the Colosseum to fight for their independence and then they wouldn’t be a slave but that would rarely happen. I also learned that the Romans made all the architectures by hand it would take a long time but they were amazing.
What new skills have you learned throughout the year?
I learned a lot about maps and how to use them. We would get a map that we would color so we know like a body of water would be blue and fertile land would be green.
How can you apply this knowledge to the real world?
I can use these mapping skills if I’m going so where and I get lost I can get out a map and find out where to go or where I am. I also can use mapping skills when I’m on the road and I need to find a short cut.
